Scroll to the bottom of each profile for links to professional associations, occupational outlook information, and job search resources.
Candid Career+ is a website that provides career-focused videos, job trends, and resources.
Students from all majors can execute professional assignments to build and demonstrate skills while exploring a variety of career paths.
Micro-Internships are short-term, paid, professional assignments that are similar to those given to new hires or interns.
Stepping Blocks is an online digital career counselor.

CAREER FAIRS
Â鶹´«Ã½ÄÚÄ»is proud to host a number of career fairs throughout the year, providing an opportunity for students and employers to connect. Â鶹´«Ã½ÄÚÄ»career fairs are open to all current students, alumni, and students attending other regional colleges.
All Â鶹´«Ã½ÄÚÄ»career fairs can be found posted on Handshake. Most fairs, both in-person and virtual, can be registered for on Handshake, some departmental fairs use external registration forms. Students, Alumni, and Employers can create their profiles on Handshake here:

OUR MISSION
The mission of the Center for Career Preparation and Employer Engagement is to support students and alumni by empowering individuals to create and achieve their career goals through active career planning and preparation. The Career Center offers engaging programming through individual appointments, workshops, and partnerships with employers and faculty/staff members to ensure a successful transition between college and professional careers.
CAREER CLOTHING
The Career Clothing Closet on the Macomb campus and The Closet on the Quad Cities campus are for students to pick out professional business clothing at no cost for their career-related needs. Our goal is to help students build confidence and look their best throughout their job search so they can make a positive impression as they enter the professional world! We also accept donations at both campuses. Learn more!

The Center for Career Preparation and Employer Engagement serves ALL Â鶹´«Ã½ÄÚÄ»students - Macomb, Quad Cities, and Online - both virtually and in person.
We have offices in the Lower Level of Memorial Hall in Macomb and on the First Floor of QC Complex C in Moline. Career Center staff can be reached at careers@wiu.edu and at 309-298-1838.
